okay, I am a slacker, I know. But here I am now with the most fantastic news!!
My cousins wife has Cystic Fibrosis and she has been patiently waiting for a lung transplant. Well tonight they received the call, Lungs for Julie!! I am so grateful and excited I want to shout it to the world.
I am a huge supporter of organ donation, it touches so many lives.
I don't want to mention this amazing, life saving gift without also pointing out that I know there is a family, not too far away, who is mourning and saying goodbye to their loved one. Their enormous loss is not forgotten in the joy our family is feeling. Thank you donor family, words cannot express our gratitude.

This is great news Sarah! I hope and pray everything goes smoothly.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a better way to answer your questions than commenting again. haha! But I hate commenting on my own posts. I teach pretty much all ages (3-high school) and the studios are in Alpine and Cedar Hills. They're both awesome studios! South Jordan was pretty a close quess! I live in Alpine, so just over the mountains. :) That's why when we first became blogging friends I asked about your blog name. Because every spring Alpine is known for they're poppies. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. What great news for the transplant. Hoping that all goes well. Looking forward to keeping in contact with you.
ReplyDeleteI too am a huge fan of organ donation. Congrats to Julie! What a long and stressful wait that must have been!
